ON SITE INSTALATION IN TILBURG (NL)
What if current events catch up with art? What is it like to experience a shocking event and be part of the world news? Tremor Laquearia fixes time like a photograph. In the middle of the process of abrupt transformation. The moment between the familiar everyday environment and the point that the world is turned upside down. With as few additions as possible, I transformed the galery space. Giving existing elements a new, loaded, meaning. The chaos completely changes the perspective. The galery has been shuffled and rearranged.
MIDDEN
PUBLIC SCULPTURE IN HEERENVEEN (NL)
Marking the entrance to the city of Heerenveen stands the 5m high sculpture ‘Midden’, Dutch for ‘Middle’. It is the geographical middle of the city, in the neighbourhood called Midden and is placed in the middle of the roundabout. My ultimate 3D graffiti piece.

During the Slachte Marathon I created an audio artwork that transformed the energy of the walking crowd into music. Every tile had a different instrument. Bass, snare, guitar, singing, rap etc. All 16 tiles together made a full song.

PUBLIC SCULPTURE IN FRANEKER (NL)
After a renovation of Sporthal De Trije in Franeker (NL) an old electricity box stood in the middle of a square. It needed some art to blend it in. I designed a tree in the shape of a 3. Trije means 3 in Frisian. Sport is about grow and the leaves are filled with sport icons.

My most personal and intimate work in wich I deleted my privacy and transformed it into art. It consisted of a performance, video art, paintings and sculptures. In the interview Omrop Fryslân recorded you can see some fragments of the works. Starting at 16:11 minutes.
GOOGLE MAPS QR
BASKETBALL COURT HEERENVEEN (NL)
To connect players I designed a QR basketball court that is visible and scanable on Google Maps. A few years after it was finished they moved the court to Sportstad Heerenveen. See if you can find it on Google Maps and scan the QR for more info about basketball in Heerenveen.
